Dr. Marshall is the President of the American Public Health Association (11/2025 - 11/2026).
US Breastfeeding Committee
Dr. Marshall is a member of the USBC CRASH Committee, which focuses on equity issues in breastfeeding. Additionally, she is a member of the Nominations Committee and serves as a member rep for APHA.
Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition
Dr. Marshall is a member of the Board of Directors for the Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition.
OneBoro (Mayor's Commission on Diversity & Inclusion)
Dr. Marshall is a member of the OneBoro Commission which advises the Mayor and City Council on Diversity and Inclusion for the City of Statesboro, Georgia.
REAL Savannah Taskforce
Dr. Marshall is a member of the REAL Savannah Taskforce which uses "a Racial Equity Lens approach to guide its work that will be people focused, data driven and committed to recommending best practices to reduce/eliminate racial disparities
in Savannah." She is also on the Health subcommittee.
Bulloch County Board of Health
Dr. Marshall serves as a member of the Bulloch County Board of Health.
